Sasha Alex Sloan – What it isn’t

Melodic pop singer Sasha Alex Sloan presents another relatable song titled What it isn’t, exploring the uncertainty and emotional complications that can develop within romantic relationships.

The track appears as the eighth song on her fourth studio album, And The Crowd Goes Mild, released on October 23, 2026.

Its message centres on the frustration of being involved in a relationship that does not seem to have a clear future. Sasha reflects on the difficult realisation that something can feel meaningful in the moment without necessarily becoming what someone hopes it will be.
