Prolific South African rapper Blxckie brings another solo performance with welcome to the function, a track that adds to the diverse musical direction of his latest album. His distinctive delivery continues to shape the sound of the project.
The song appears as the eighth track on his second studio album, YENA, released on October 30, 2026, through Somnyama Music Entertainment and EMPIRE.
Following the shorter “brady’s interlude,” this record moves the album forward with another full-length performance from the lead artist. It gives listeners a chance to enjoy his individual style without a featured appearance.
Blxckie’s willingness to explore different rhythms and musical approaches remains evident throughout the project, making each track part of a wider collection of sounds.
Add welcome to the function by Blxckie to your music collection and enjoy another exciting song from YENA.
