Taking a bold musical direction, John Legend joins forces with hip-hop duo Clipse on “Bodies On The Floor.” The collaboration brings together soulful vocals and sharp rap performances over a dramatic instrumental.
The track is the twelfth song on the Muse album, featuring Clipse members Pusha T and Malice. Pharrell Williams produces the record, bringing his signature creative approach to the collaboration.
The song uses the language and imagery of gang warfare to explore a toxic but magnetic relationship, connecting themes of conflict and attraction through its lyrics.
John Legend’s melodic delivery contrasts with the duo’s rap verses, creating an interesting combination of R&B and hip-hop that stands out within the project.
Enjoy this unique collaboration and add another exciting release to your music collection.
