Expressive singer-songwriter Sasha Alex Sloan brings a relatable perspective to her song Fun, exploring the complicated experiences of growing up and dealing with everyday pressures.
The track is the sixth song on her fourth studio album, And The Crowd Goes Mild. It was released as a single on September 18, 2026, ahead of the full album.
Through its lyrics, Sasha touches on social anxiety, burnout and the pressure to enjoy life even when certain situations feel uncomfortable. The song reflects on the difference between how people are expected to behave and how they genuinely feel inside.
Its engaging pop arrangement provides a contrast to the more serious emotions explored in the lyrics, giving the record an interesting musical character.
